Ayesa has been adjudicated two contacts which represent the entry of our company to the African country’s marketplace. The first of these is the control and surveyance of the railroad facility works for the rail network near Árgel. The second one is a project for the new electrified High Speed Line between Boumedfaa and Djelfa, both projects for the National Agency for Railroad Investment - Agencia Nacional de Inversiones Ferroviaras (Anesrif).

The contract has a duration of 32 months and is for the amount of 1.147.270.97 euro.

Grupo Ayesa has just presented the rice industry a progress report of the Study on Alternatives for the improvement of the supply to the rice cultivation area in the tidal wetlands - marismas del Guadalquivir. Grupo Ayesa and the financial entity CajaSur have agreed to jointly build “Sociedad Áurea Sur Fotovoltaica SL”, a society whose end shall be the construction, development and operation of photovoltaic solar energy plants. During the initial phase, Áurea Sur foresees the development of several photovoltaic plants until reaching an installed power capacity of 4 megawatts.

The National Moroccan Railroad Company (Office National des Chemins de Fer, ONCF) has awarded Ayesa, as part of a Spanish-French-Moroccan consortium, the project for the engineering of the high speed railway line between Kenitra and Tangier. The 190 km stretch was awarded for the amount of 10 million euro.
Euskal Trenbide Sarea (ETS) awards two contracts to Ayesa
Euskal Trenbide Sarea (ETS), the company responsible for the management of the Red Ferroviaria Vasca [Basque Railway Network] has awarded Ayesa the technical assistance for the creation of the construction project for the new railway network for the Basque Country in the western sector of the Gipuzcoano branch, as well as the construction project for the Light Railway Leioa- Universidad light railway.

Ayesa's Mexico has been awarded a contract in Querétaro for the State Water Commission (CEA, Spanish signals), in the amount of 1.2 million euros. The contract's purpose is the diagnosis, instrumentation and recovery of water volumes in the Southeastern and Northwestern zones of the city.

Andalusia’s Consulting Engineer Association (ASICA, Spanish signals) has distinguished Ayesa with two rewards in the first Asica 2007 Prize edition, Engineering and Society. In the Civil Works category, the first prize was awarded to the “El Guardián del Castillo” bridge. In the Environmental Work category, the second prize went to the Restoration works of the Soto Grande and Soto Chico Streams and the La Laguna stream of los Reyes at Doñana.

Ayesa has been awarded the contract for coordination and specialized counseling of the Bobadilla-Granada High-Speed Line (LAV) platform works. The contract, with a budget of almost five million euros has an execution term of 60 months. The civil work will be 112 kilometers long and once it has been completed, it will enable making the Madrid-Granada trip in only two hours and 50 minutes.
Ayesa wins the Idea Contest for architectonical development of the Inter-Modal Station of Bajo Llobregat
The jury of the idea contest for architectonical development of the Bajo Llobregat Inter-Modal Station has been declared unanimously awarded to the project presented by Ayesa. The Prat de Llobregat station will be a neuralgic transportation center in which AVE trains will join the Madrid Barcelona line, regional trains from the nearby, two subway lines and several bus lines.

Last March 28 the new bridge over the Guadaira river, "El guardián del Castillo", was inaugurated. Designed by our president, José Luis Manzanares Japón, the Dragon Bridge, as is popularly known, is a work of Giasa, and is framed within the infrastructure plan of the Public Works and Transportation Council of the Andalusia Board.
